It's a new week and I'm so excited!
Lots of fun things planned. Tonight, I'm starting a new hosting class...so I'll keep y'all posted on what it's like! I love these classes because I feel so energized and excited about what the future holds.
Also, it's my first real week of work! I give my first tours tomorrow. Not gonna lie...I'm a little nervous, but VERY excited! I just know it'll be a blast! :)
And I get to work on The Doctors show this week. It'll be so cool to see how a talk show works behind-the-scenes. Hopefully one day it'll be me!!

Ready for the weekend!
What a great two weeks! I'm officially trained and can start giving studio tours at Paramount now! So come visit! ;)
It has been so much fun! It's like going to school and meeting a bunch of new friends for the first time! I can tell it's going to be a blast!
But let me tell you...I am one tired girl! This weekend will be a great one...lots of sleeping, seeing friends, and catching up on my TV shows haha.
I feel so blessed to have this job though. We've gotten introduced to so many different people, and I always seem to leave inspired! So lucky! They even surprised us with a cake at the end of training. Look!
As you can see...I've been having a great time! We always need to remember how lucky we are! So undeserving.

What a fun week!
Hey y'all!!
Hope everybody's week was great! My first week of training for the page program was a blast! Not gonna lie...my feet are killing me from walking all over the studio millions of times, but this will be a relaxing weekend for sure! I'll definitely be refreshed and ready to get back to it on Monday!
I don't think I'll ever get sick of celeb spotting haha! I saw a bunch more people during training, so that always makes for a nice surprise.
Also, this week we had a hosting happy hour! I got to reunite with all of my friends from hosting class and meet a bunch of other hosts that live in LA. It was a blast!
It has definitely been an eventful week. SO MUCH FUN! I've met some really great people that I'll love working with and hanging out with outside of work. Another cool thing that I did this week was watch the film Wings at the Paramount Theatre. The company does screenings for employees every week and this one was extra special because Wings is the first movie ever to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards! I'm a working woman!
Today was my first day of training for the page program at Paramount, and it was a great day!!
Seriously...who goes to work and sees six, yes six, celebrities in one day! How crazy is that? I about died haha!
A bunch of shows film on the Paramount lot, including Community, Glee and Happy Endings. Today, while we walked around the studio, I saw Abed (Danny Pudi) and Annie (Alison Brie) from Community, and I saw Sam (Chord Overstreet), Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) from Glee, as well as the creator of the show himself, Ryan Murphy! Talk about celeb spotting! They were all filming for their shows today, and I saw most of them riding around on golf carts to get to the studios where they film!
For training we got to take a walking tour of the studio since we'll eventually be leading our own tours. We got to see the actual sets for The Doctors, Happy Endings and Community. It's so cool how people transform plain old studios and make them into schools or bars or apartments. It definitely takes a lot of talent!
I'm definitely looking forward to what the rest of my time at this job will be like! You just never know what may happen. Now...I'm off to study some Paramount history! :)

Who watched the Golden Globes???
Starting at 3pm yesterday, I was attached to the TV! The Golden Globes were on, and I just had to watch...everything from the red carpet to the award show itself!
I love picking out who makes my best-dressed list! This year my top three were Charlize Theron, Reese Witherspoon, and Angelina Jolie. They all looked beautiful! Who were your favorites this year??
Five of us girls got together to watch yesterday and we had so much fun! I felt so inspired watching the show. There were just so many talented people crammed into the Beverly Hilton yesterday. And I'm sure a lot of viewers dream of making it to the Golden Globes at some point in their career. I guess you never know what might happen! :)
Now...I'm ready for the Oscars!

Movie night turned chat fest
It happens every time without fail! We get together for movie nights and we never watch the movies haha! That's just what happens with friends...especially us ladies!
We plan this great night - full of snacks, pjs and of course an amazing movie that we're just dying to see. But once we all get together, the talking never stops and the movie never even makes it into the DVD player.
The hours pass with us chatting and laughing. We share our hopes for the future and how we're going to accomplish our dreams in this big city, and we talk about why there seems to be no good guys in LA - a topic of pretty much every conversation haha.
We start getting tired and the yawns keep coming. And then we realize...that we never even thought about watching that movie.
Oh well...there's always the next movie night. Maybe next time, we'll actually do what we planned! ;)

Staying in touch!
While I search through pictures from my past for my website (coming soon by the way), I can't help but think about what great memories I've shared with friends and family throughout my life.
My college pictures remind me of many of my friends whom, after graduation, have scattered all over the world to follow their dreams and start their lives in the "real world." Looking at these pictures makes me want to make a conscious effort to stay in touch with the people who have had an impact on my life in some way.
It's funny because I dreamed last night that my friends and I were reuniting five years after we graduated. We were meeting up to have a fun girl's trip somewhere sunny and warm! It made me think about how important it will be to find a way to reunite with those you haven't seen in a while down the road. And let me tell you...I sure do look forward to making these trips happen in the future!

Flyin back to Cali!
I don't know what it is, but I just love airports haha!
You never know who you'll meet and everybody you pass has a story. They're going somewhere to see something or someone.
One of my favorite things to do when I'm traveling is to people watch. I like to try imagine different people's lives, so I make up stories for them. Trust me...it's actually really fun!
And when you're flying to LA...you just don't know who you'll meet! That's the cool thing about traveling - you never know what you may learn about somebody or who might come into your life during a 4 hour plane ride.
So next time you're in an airport...look around and see if you can figure out people's stories. I can guarantee when you watch people reunite at baggage claim, you'll smile! :)

2012, the year to delve...into what you love!
Say goodbye to 2011 and hello to 2012!
Y'all know I love making up catchphrases... I've got "23, the year for me!" and now "2012, the year to delve..." Why not make life changes fun and creative? I like to feel inspired, and these catchphrases remind me to live life fully and follow my dreams.
Oh how fast time flies. Now is the time to make some new year's resolutions and embark upon a new journey. It's time to make your dreams a reality and to move forward with a fresh perspective. What excitement and possibilities a new year brings.
Nobody knows what 2012 has in store, but I do know that we can make it a great year if we choose to do so! I hope 2012 brings y'all many blessings and memorable experiences. I have a feeling it'll be a great! :)
